Tupperware Replacement Guide

Life Time Guarantee

Tupperware proudly back its product with a life time guarantee. Most Tupperware products are guaranteed to perform under normal domestic use for a long time of the product.

The only product not covered by the life time guarantee are those few items which come under Quality Guarantee with the "Q" symbol.

Tupperware products are guaranteed against chipping, cracking or breaking under normal non commercial use.

If due to non-availability, a particular color of a part in the original product can not be provided we will provide a matching color. If we cannot find a matching color, the customer will be requested to give back all the parts of the old product and have a new product of same design but in a new color.

If due to unavailability, a replacement product cannot be provided, Tupperware will gladly provide a comparable product in volume or a full credit to the value of the last recommended retail price of that item, towards future purchase of Tupperware brand products.

Customer can contact their nearest distributor for claiming a replacement.

What is covered by Life Time Guarantee?

• Manufacturing quality issues like warping, stress cracking, peeling, splitting and any specific functional issues in normal non-commercial use are covered by life time guarantee.
• All the Tupperware products which are not under "Q" guarantee comes under life time guarantee.
• Melamine products are covered for a guarantee of 7 years only.
• Any exceptions to the above will clearly be intimated at the time of sale.

• Breakage of products due to mishandling or accident drop on floor.
• Decorative printing, scale printing, bags, straps, pouches, etc are not covered by life time guarantee.
• Any product or part damaged and not covered by our guarantee may be purchase individually.

 The Quality "Q" Guarantee

•   A few Tupperware products are under "Q" Guarantee. As these products are not intended for life time use they do not carry the life time guarantee. However they are all still guaranteed by Tupperware to be free of manufacturing defects and will be replaced, if defective, completely free of charge, provided they are returned with the order receipt immediately.
• Current products under this category are Vegetable Peeler, Ice Cream Scoop, Knives, Lunch and Kit Bags, Water Dispenser Tap, Spice Shaker Stand etc.
• Products with "Q" guarantee will be cleraly indicated at the time of sale, through catalog, leaflet or flyer.

 

How to use Tupperware Seals

Caring for your Tupperware

Tupperware products are tested to ensure that they are a safe, non-toxic, attractive and durable alternative to other home storage products. With a little care you can keep your Tupperware looking as good as new.

• Cleaning and Storing :

          Wash and rinse Tupperware with liquid soap and lukewarm water. Store without seals to keep  them fresh. Do not soak polycarbonate range in detergent or soap.

• Hot food and Beverages :

         Cool beverages before handling or applying the seal. Cool hot food for liquids containing fat(cooking oil,/grease, curries, soups, sauces) before placing them in the container. Tupperware containers can withstand temperatures upto 80 degree C.

• Tight Seals :

          Place the seal in warm water for few minutes. Dry thoroughly, then apply to container while still warm.

• Stain Removal :

          Use baking soda paste; it's ideal for reducing of stains and stickness.

• Preventing Cuts and Scratches :

          Avoid use of abrasive scrubbers and washing powders.

•  Removing Unpleasant Odours :

           A piece of charcoal or moist newspaper, stuffed into the container and left sealed for 12 hours in the fridge, before washing and rinsing the product thoroughly, should get rid of unpleasant odours.

• Liquid Storage :

          Only products with Classic Round Seal are liquid-tight and can be kept in any position. Place containers with any other type of seal in upright position.
